Nezaket Ekici he artist carries an dress of ca. 40 kg made of blue Glauss eyes. These glass-eyes are known in Turkey as a talisman and serve as a defence against bad looks. They can be found almost everywhere, but not as a basic element of a dress, what makes this performance very special. The Performacne "Nazar" took place in Berlin. The artist goes approx. 500 meter on the shopping street and stops all 5 meters. This Performance is meant as a Living Sculpture and incite the viewers to numerous statements. The people stop and are surprised because of the unusual appearance and try to get in contactwith the artist. The mythical symbolism of the blue eye opens the door to the viewer: Everyone asks himself inevitably, what could be the hidden sense.
