PerformanceInstallation presented at Presented at: "Performance in der Kunsthalle" Fridericianum Kassel, 2003

The Performance/Installation "Berlin-Braunschweig-München-Schöppingen and Kassel" reflects a situation of my live, which is present since 3 years. The go back and forth between this different city like "Berlin-Braunschweig-München-Schöppingen" present my live between work, live, study, exibit and travel. Besides always go back and forth between this city comes sometimes new city like Kassel or others, where I stay for a short time for exibit or travel. This situation of a live of flexibilty between live and work in different city you can find more and more in our modern society and gets more to a actuelle theme.

In the 2 hours performance/installation, which happens on the exibition opening, you see me with different luggage, which I always take with me with the same contents, when I go back and forth between the city. I walk and carry with this luggage up and down between the exibitionsrooms and through the public of the hugh museums building to find the room, where the installation of my artwork waiting of me. In this room is a podestal with a monitor installeted. On the film you see in a loop only the ending credits. The text of the contents, from the different luggage, which I carred with me during the performance, is written in black and white. About the contents of the luggage the viewer can make his one imaginition and pictures about the different objects also it opens him a lot of questions about the peformer. The performance end in the moment where I put up the luggage on the ground next to the podestal and Monitor and go out from the room. After this moment the installation continue to the end of the exibitionopening.
