The performance "Fountain" confronts the viewer with a living fountain sculpture. The artist wears a dress made of more than 60 colostomy bags, all filled with water. Valves on the bags allow the artist to control the speed at which water is released and the direction it takes. The more the water flows out, the more clearly apparent becomes the contrast between the image of the veiled female body and masculinity, the latter symbolised by the act of passing water.
