Performance-installation for the exhibition of the same name, AkademieGalerie, Munich, 6-22.3.2002

The installation is comprised of completely white-painted canvasses in various formats and ornate gold frames, which transform Munich's AkademieGalerie into a particular kind of museum. There are no pictures except the monochrome white canvasses, substitutes for the originals that the visitor can learn to "see" by listening to an audio guide: commentaries on classical paintings from the previous five centuries, recorded in cooperation with art lovers in the Alte and Neue Pinakothek and the Lenbachhaus in Munich. The artist plays the role of museum attendant.
