Performance in the context of Brazier's International Artist Workshop, Oxfordshire/England, 12-26.8.2001

The photo series was created in the course of a 2-week workshop and consists of 27 portraits of artists sitting in a child's pram made from found objects (a tin bath and wheels). The actual artwork does not consist of the end product - the photo series - but of the process itself. The performance attempts to make visible a part of the artistic creative process. Lively verbal intimacy and the communication between the initiators and the participants - the 'kids in the pram', who themselves become artworks - creates a kind of living sculpture.
